What is a TCG?

An online tcg (trading card game) works similar to a real trading card game like Pokemon. The main objective is to collect and trade cards, which you earn by playing games for example. Each tcg has its own theme, a thing, person, series or whatever it is related to. In this case, you are on an Ayumi Hamasaki tcg, featuring cards of the famous Japanese singer.

Each card belongs to a so-called "deck". Each deck has its own theme, for example the music video of alterna. In the alterna deck (found here) you can find 15 different cards with pictures from the alterna PV. The sixteenth card is the so called master badge. You get this card as soon as you have got all the other cards from the deck. This is your goal: to master decks. There are several sorts of decks.

The regular ones contain fifteen different cards. Puzzle decks have a number of 12 cards and special cards, which are a bit harder to get, have a total of 5 cards per deck. Regular and Puzzle deck cards have a worth of one, while special cards have a worth of two. The total worth of all your cards is important for you when you want to level up (see below for more information on leveling up).

How Do I Earn Cards?

Earning cards is somewhat easy. When you join UNITE!, you get your starter pack containing 2 cards of your choice, four random cards, one special card and a random token (see below for information on tokens). This'll help you to start the game. As soon as you've put your cards onto your trade post (a homepage which symbolizes your trading album), you can start earning more cards. First, you'll get 2 more random cards from me for putting your trade post online. Second, as soon as you reach level 1 by putting your cards onto your tradepost, you can start playing games on the site. There are four sorts of games. Weekly updated, biweekly updated, monthly updated and ongoing games. By winning these games (each can be played once a week/month only!) you get some new cards as prizes :)

Another way to get the cards you want is to trade with other members. Sure there is a member that has a card you'd like to have, so you can ask him or her to trade with you. But remember that you can't trade two cards for one. You have to trade one random card for one other random card and one special card for one other special card.

Besides games and trading, you can also earn cards by your birthday. It only comes once a year, so you'll get a nice birthday present from me, I promise :) Plus, there are weekly freebies on the site, from which you can take cards for free.

How Do I Level Up?

Leveling up is another good way to get cards. For each level you gain, you are rewarded with cards. See the table below for levels and rewards.

What Can I Do With Tokens?

By playing games you'll also earn some coins. There are 2 sorts of Ayu coins, silver ones and golden ones:

These coins can be traded into cards. A silver coin is worth 1, a golden token is worth 5.
25 coin worth = 1 random regular
50 coin worth = 1 random special
75 coin worth = 1 choice regular
100 coin worth = 1 choice special
